At 18:20 on Monday, 27 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Factory Fire in Hortonwood 30, Telford .
5 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Newport, Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Covering jet
- Hosereel jet
Fire involving 2 tonnes of rolled carpet inside building, 2 breathing apparatus, 1 extended hose reel jet and 1 covering jet used to extinguish the fire.
