At 10:04 on Friday, 1 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Gas Leak in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

Gas leak caused by a vehicle causing damage to a gas pipe. Cadent gas engineers also present to isolate supply. Crew cordonned area and assisted in temporary evacuation of adjacent properties as a precaution.
