At 17:34 on Saturday, 2 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Bridgnorth.

3 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform, the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock, Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Telford. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Small gear

Fire contained to chimney in three storey property.
