At 15:37 on Friday, 8 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera
• Triple/Short extension ladder

Chimney fire, reinspection to take place at 21:30hrs
