At 11:47 on Friday, 15 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Dry powder extinguisher
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire in chip pan fryer. Crews extinguished fire and isolated frying unit.
