At 13:11 on Saturday, 16 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm with good intent due to a barbeque in a rear garden.
