At 14:52 on Sunday, 24 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire Persons Reported in Much Wenlock.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving candles igniting Christmas decorations, out on arrival, inspection only, advice given
