At 04:20 on Monday, 1 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Reports of a 1 vehicle RTC persons trapped. Incident left with West Mercia Police.
