At 16:57 on Tuesday, 2 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flooding in Hodnet.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Hodnet.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency.

2 occupants of vehicle stranded in flood water assisted to safety by passer-by prior to arrival of Fire Service personnel.
