At 19:22 on Saturday, 6 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Report of fire coming from garden space. This incident was a false alarm good intent. Controlled burn which has been extinguished by occupiers. Advice given to occupiers no further action required by fire service personnel.
