At 13:14 on Thursday, 11 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm. Thoroughly investigated using thermal imaging camera.
