At 11:33 on Saturday, 20 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Oswestry and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 horse rescued from farm machinery using HIAB from Rescue Tender appliance in order to move the machinery. Owner of horse in attendance.
