At 20:53 on Monday, 29 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Smoke detector activated within property. This was false alarm good intent. Alarm caused by faulty battery in smoke detector.
