At 01:07 on Wednesday, 31 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Church Stretton .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Smoke issuing from building. From Fire Service investigation using a thermal imaging camera, the smoke had been caused by cooking fumes. Smoke ventilated from property.
