At 10:58 on Sunday, 4 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Market Drayton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving a chip pan, fire extinguished prior to fire service arrival using fire blankets. Crews used small gear and a thermal imaging camera.
