At 01:34 on Wednesday, 7 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm good intent. Steam from school heating system being confused as smoke. Thorough external search of building completed on foot using thermal imagine camera.
