At 17:08 on Wednesday, 7 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire Persons Reported in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

House fire. One male casualty rescued by fire service. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet, 1 covering jet and breaking in equipment.
