At 22:00 on Wednesday, 7 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Wellington.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Trees and bushes on fire which were extinguished by crews using 1 hosereel jet and small gear.
