At 23:43 on Friday, 9 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Incident involved 1 elderly male and 1 border collie assisted from rear of social club. Fire crews used triple extension ladder and animal rescue kit.
