At 03:42 on Thursday, 15 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Craven Arms.

This incident was a false alarm due to an aerosol can activating smoke detector.
