At 18:25 on Friday, 23 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire Persons Reported in Bridgnorth.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

This incident was a kitchen fire due to unattended cooking. Crews extinguished fire using 1 hosereel jet. One casualty rescued from property and in care of ambulance crews.
