At 16:36 on Tuesday, 27 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Garmston.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire involving central heating boiler in a bungalow, property also heavily smoke logged.
