At 18:27 on Friday, 1 March, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm due to excessive dust created by workmen prior to isolating alarm panel.
