At 13:14 on Thursday, 30 May, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Market Drayton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera
• Triple/Short extension ladder

Report of light smoke issuing on ground floor. Thorough search carried out by fire service personnel. Crews isolated electrics and gave advice.
