At 18:07 on Thursday, 30 May, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of a tree stump on fire- Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet, and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots
