At 10:59 on Friday, 31 May, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Tenbury Wells.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ludlow.

This incident was a false alarm due to fire alarms being test without notifying Shropshire Fire & Rescue service prior to testing. Shropshire Fire was assisted by Hereford & Worcester Fire Service.
