At 16:25 on Friday, 31 May, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

2 cars involved in road traffic collision. No persons trapped casualties assessed by fire service personnel. Incident left with Police.
