At 18:45 on Tuesday, 4 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in near Combe Farm, Cherrington, Newport .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Call to RTC involving 2 vehicles. No persons trapped but 2 casualties receiving first aid assistance by fire crews until arrival of ambulance crew. Both vehicles made safe by fire crew using small gear.
