At 11:14 on Thursday, 20 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Shrewsbury.

7 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
