At 22:24 on Monday, 24 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involved a wheelie bin that was out on arrival of crews, crews carried out a thorough investigation with a thermal imaging camera, and no action was required.
