At 11:30 on Saturday, 29 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Railway Embankment.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks

Fire measuring approximately 50m by 3m, crews extinguished using beaters and knapsacks
