At 19:01 on Thursday, 4 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ludlow.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Two static caravans in the process of being dismantled, fully destroyed by fire.
