At 20:53 on Sunday, 7 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

This incident was a small fire which was out on arrival of crews due to burnt food in a microwave oven. Crews completed full and thorough search of building. Microwave oven removed from premises by crews.
