At 12:40 on Sunday, 14 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Railway Embankment in Bridgnorth .

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks

Approximately 100x10m of embankment on fire. Fire extinguished using knapsack sprayers and beaters
