At 15:01 on Sunday, 14 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving oven in kitchen, out on arrival.
