At 09:31 on Saturday, 20 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Fire in ground floor kitchen of property that has been extinguished by Fire Service Personnel.
