At 07:45 on Monday, 29 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Newport.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

Small fire in engine compartment of SUV, crews used one hose reel jet and one thermal imaging camera to extinguish.
