At 10:07 on Tuesday, 30 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Ellesmere. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving extraction unit in portacabin used as a café, extinguished using breathing apparatus and hose reel jet
