At 09:31 on Wednesday, 31 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of a car smoking- this incident was a false alarm caused by the engine over heating crews used 1 hose reel jet, small tools and a thermal imaging camera.
