At 17:18 on Thursday, 1 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Pontesbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks
• Thermal imaging camera

Small bin fire, crews used one knapsack and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish.
