At 23:11 on Tuesday, 6 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

This incident was found to be a false alarm caused by hydraulic oil from a pipe burning off. Crews used thermal image camera to check for hotspots.
