At 16:58 on Thursday, 8 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in A442, Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police and Telford and Wrekin Council.

One saloon vehicle 50% involved in fire. Two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets used to extinguish the vehicle.
