At 05:53 on Sunday, 18 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• CO2 extinguisher

Small fire from battery back up system causing light smoke logging . Crews extinguished using a CO2 extinguisher whilst wearing breathing apparatus.
