At 19:45 on Wednesday, 21 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Cutters/Spreaders
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency.

One car fully involved in fire. Crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jets, holmatro cutting equipment and thermal imaging camera.
