At 10:39 on Sunday, 25 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Knowle Sands, Bridgnorth.
2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Tweedale.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Beaters
- Hosereel jet
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
One out of control bonfire involving 100sq meters of undergrowth and 2 tonnes of garden rubbish extinguished using one hose reel jet, beaters and fogging unit
