At 16:41 on Wednesday, 28 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Small fire in washer dryer that was out on arrival of Fire Service Personnel, inspection only.
