At 15:29 on Friday, 30 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Embankment in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Much Wenlock.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Approximately 25 meters by 10 meters of bushes and field on fire by railway embankment which spread to garden. Crews extinguished using an extended hosereel jet
