At 16:53 on Sunday, 1 September, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Shovels/Forks/Brooms

Approximately 1x2m of hedge involved in fire. One hose reel jet and shovels used to extinguish fire.
