At 05:22 on Tuesday, 3 September, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This incident involved an unattended bonfire consisting of wood measuring approximately 2 meters squared which was extinguished by crews using a hosreel jet.
