At 15:41 on Friday, 6 September, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Nesscliffe.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Full internal inspection of log burner, flue and attic made by fire service personnel, as well as full external inspection. Nothing found.
